Change Default Search Options (Windows XP) Category: Home > Windows > Windows Explorer > Search
These settings allow you to change the default search options used to search for files and folders on Windows XP. Open your registry and find the key below. Modify the following values, setting them to "1" to select the parameter as a default or "0" as unselected.
